Three Cliffs Bay, The Gower Peninsula, Swansea, South Wales
In 1956 Gower became the first area in Britain to be designated an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. It offers many great surf beaches and plenty of limestone cliffs ideal for rock climbing. It also has a superb coastal path which skirts around the whole peninsula. Three Cliffs Bay gets its name from the three sea cliffs that stand on the bay, these tidal sea cliffs are very popular among climbers, and they are a loved and well used climbing location for RIPNROCK. The bay is overlooked by the beautiful Pennard Castle built in the early 12th century.

The Neath Valley / ‘The Celtic Rain Forest’
The Neath Valley (Welsh – Cwm Nedd) is also well known as ‘Waterfall Country’ due to its diverse and towering selection of waterfalls in the valley at the bottom of the Brecon Beacons. We use two of the rivers in the Neath Valley, the River Mellte and the River Sychryd for the wet and wild, adrenaline filled canyoning and gorge walking activities.
The area around the River Mellte has been labelled as ‘The Celtic Rain Forest’ due its hugely diverse flora some of which is not found anywhere else in the world!
Lower down on the Mellte are the remains of the historic Gunpowder works that once stood in the valley and the infamous ‘Loonies Leap’ at the end of the gorge walk plunges into the pool that previously supplied power to the works.
Dinas Rock situated between the Rivers Sychryd and Mellte is an imposing but very climbable, easy-angled slab of rock perfect for beginners. Along with numerous caves, this place is simply an awesome playground for the adventure seeker.
The whole area is Positioned in The South Wales Valleys, near Swansea and Cardiff, this area is filled with waterfalls and rivers and ideal for taking groups on action packed day outs.
Rhossili Bay, The Gower Peninsula, Swansea, South Wales
Rhossili Bay, Gower 2014 has been voted the number 1 beach in the UK in TripAdvisor travellers’ choice awards. Along with being the 3rd best beach in Europe! Rhossili beach is 3 miles long backed up with sand dunes. There are numerous shipwreck remains on the beach which are visible at low tide. The Gower is less than 15 minutes from the City of Swansea, the Gower Peninsula is home to around 50 unspoilt beaches coves and bays.
