FEELING PECKISH?? Here’s a few of our favourites;

For Rhossili, checkout The Lookout for freshly made sarnies, pizzas and cakes. If its good pub grub with killer sea views you’re after, then The Worms Head Hotel is a must! And for something a bit special, check out The Bay Bistro. If you’re re just after a quick cuppa, the National Trust have a takeway trailer in the carpark. Grab some snacks or for stocking up for camping or bunkhouses, then Pitton Cross campsite has a well stocked shop. For packed lunches, catering services including bbqs get in touch with Simon and Steve at The Gower Hog Roast Company .

Award winning Gower Pubs

The Britannia is on the North Coast in the village of Llanmadoc and offers stunning views from its garden.

The King Arthur is in the centre of Gower in the village of Reynoldston, and the Kings Head Inn is at Gowers’ surfing hotspot – Llangennith.

Heading along the South coast, there’s The Ship Inn Pub and fish and chips shops to be found at Port Eynon. Making your way East back towards the City, you can drop down into Oxwich to fine dine at The Beach House Restaraunt, or enjoy food and drinks at The Oxwich Bay Hotel.

Stop at The Little Valley Bakery in Parkmill, at the Gower Heritage Centre for delicious organic savouries and treats. Three Cliffs Bay Cafe and Cliff restaurant at Southgate serve locally sourced, delicious meals and cakes. Nearing Mumbles, at the popular beaches of Caswel, Langland and Rotherslade you can grab a bite at The Surfside cafes. Castellemare is a great Italian cafe and restarant  and is just around the corner at Braclet Bay.

The bustling seaside village of Mumbles has a great selection of local cafes and restaurants that are definitely worth a visit. It’s hard to miss the big chain restaraunts along the seafront but if you take a stroll around and head back towards the pier or up past the castle, you’ll come across some superb little eateries. Boos’ plant based cafe is one of my favourites, along with Chai and Mediterranean.

Swansea City Centre;

It’s hard to miss the one and only skyscraper on the seafront which boasts a restaraunt and bar right at the top, this is a must as you’ll see the whole of Swansea and beyond from a new perspective at The Grape and Olive. The City Centre and Wind St in particular is teaming with all the favourite chains, the choice is yours! I’m a big fan of Turtle Bay for consistently great food. It’s such a small City, so it won’t take you long to find you way around. Take a walk around the Marina and cross over the foot bridge to the newly developed SA1 area for even more choice.

Staying near the waterfalls for Canyoning and Gorge Walking antics?!

The Angel Inn and The White Horse Inn in Pontneddfechan and The Ystrad Inn in Ystradfellte for great pub grub.

Sgwd Gladys for a more contempary eating experience.

Head into Glynneath for supermarkets to stock up , bakeries and cafes.
